We are excited to announce that Peacehaven is now offering monthly tours of our beautiful farm. Beginning in October 2016, one-hour tours will be available on the first Wednesday and first Friday of each month, year-round. Our tour is an adult-oriented, one-hour experience that informs and educates anyone who is interested in learning about our mission, funding, current programs, and dreams, culminating in a short walking tour. If you are interested in a more kid-friendly experience, sign up for our Saturday garden workdays when they resume in March.
If you’re a long-time Peacehaven friend and you’ve been out to the farm before, this is a great opportunity to bring your friends, family members, and coworkers to Peacehaven so they can see what all the buzz is about. If you’re a friend of Peacehaven but have never seen our farm, we would love to roll out the green carpet for you! We’ll show you our offices, Susan’s View (Core Members’ house), gardens, barn, and property. You’ll hear about a typical day on the farm, who we serve, current programs, and what we’re dreaming about for the future. We’ll even fill you in on how you can get involved. Tours are available by appointment on the first Wednesday and Friday of the month, and will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Reserve your spot today!
*Please note, this tour is designed for adults and children ages 14 and older. There is a maximum of 10 spots available for each tour. If you have a group you wish to bring that exceeds 10, please contact Stephanie Chandler at email@example.com or Cindy Hawkes at firstname.lastname@example.org.
See you at the farm!
