Saturday, October 18, 2014 was a very special day for the Peacehaven Community. With more than 250 people on hand to celebrate, Peacehaven dedicated its first residential home, Susan's View. Joined by the staff from Habitat for Humanity of Greater Greensboro, several local dignitaries, and so many of you - our Peacehaven friends, we dedicated the home that will provide permanent, accessible, supportive housing to enable adults with special needs to live with dignity and independence within a larger community. Our four core members moved into Susan's View in November, 2014.

At Peacehaven, community grounds us as an organization and has been the foundation for the construction of Susan’s View. We are beyond grateful to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Greensboro and all the volunteers that swung a hammer, provided a lunch, made a donation or helped in countless other ways to make our dream of providing affordable housing for people with special needs a reality.
